Not medical care

Med Detective provides health education, medical record review, and patient advocacy. These services are not medical care. Using this website or contacting us does not create a provider–patient relationship. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or direct treatment; your own care team remains responsible for your care. In an emergency, call 911.

Website content

Content on this site, including articles and "Case Files," is for general educational purposes and is not medical or legal advice for your situation. Do not delay seeking care because of something you read here.

Consultations and services

Submitting a form is a request to be contacted, not an agreement for services. Any paid engagement will be described in a separate written agreement that sets out the scope, fees, and terms of that work, and that agreement will control.

Text message program

Program: Med Detective consultation messages. When you opt in on our forms, you agree to receive text messages about your consultation request and, if you separately opt in, occasional updates.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to cancel at any time. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages unless you opt in again.
Reply HELP for help.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
